Egg Donation is the second most common means of alternative fertility.
Many of our Egg Donors donate multiple times and our approved donors are healthy, intelligent, attractive and responsible.
Here are the basic steps to follow:
1: Request information
2: We make contact with you and send the first information package
3: Questions are answered about our Egg Donors and IVF process
4: We assist you in the selection of an Egg Donor
5: You pay a deposit for confirmation of your Egg Donor
6: We Coordinate and Syncronize your Egg Donor and Recipient Cycles
7: Egg Retrieval and Fertilization
8: Embryos are Transferred / Implanted
Egg Donor Selection: This is Phase 1
Once we have all of the required labwork for both spouses we can move forward with the selection of your egg donor. We will ask for pictures of both you and your partner and we will ask you to include a short profile of “what you are looking for in your egg donor”. We will offer Egg Donor recommendations to you based upon the information provided by you. We will find the potential egg donors that we believe are uniquely suited for you. We receive Egg Donor profiles on a weekly basis and even though not all are entered into our database if a newly received profile fits your requirements, we will send this profile to you for review.
Egg Donor Selection: This is Phase 2 : Pre-Testing
We will get your Donor started on her pre-testing once she is selected. She may or may not need to have her FSH levels, LH and E2 testing performed if she is a repeat donor and she has cycled within the last year. When the pre-testing results are optimal, it is time to move to the next phase.
Egg Donor Selection:This is Phase 3: Medical Screening Process
Once your Egg Donor’s pre.testing results are perfect, we will meet with your Egg Donor to conduct a medical screening and ultrasound.
Egg Donor Selection:This is Phase 4: Deposit of funds for confirmation
Once your Egg Donor has been medically cleared by our Reproductive Endocrinologist a deposit needs to be made as partial payment to your donor and to begin treatment three weeks prior to your arrival in Cancun.
Egg Donor Selection:This is Phase 5: Medical Procedures Begin
We will commence your Egg Donor on Medication. We will then begin the process of synchronizing cycles. Medications are provided to stimulate your Egg Donor’s ovaries in order to produce multiple eggs. The recipient then begins treatment to prepare her uterine lining to receive the embryos. When your Egg Donor is on her medications she will have constant monitoring. When your Egg Donor has her eggs mature, we will use a mild sedation and a vaginal transducer is used to aspirate the Donor’s Eggs. The eggs are examined and mixed with the sperm before being placed in a special medium. The eggs are then incubated to allow fertilization to occur. Embryos are implanted into the uterus of the recipient and the remaining embryos are generally frozen.
Egg Donor Selection:This is Phase 6: Post Procedure
We request a blood pregnancy test to be taken 12 to 14 days from the date of implantation. If pregnancy is achieved a hormonal treatment will continue for a full 40 days post transfer.
